Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The Los Angeles Rams played here from 1981 until they left St. Louis in 1995. The new Angel Stadium seats nearly 45,050 for the Angels, and features terraced bullpens, widened concourses, the Nestle Family Zone, the Pepsi Perfect Game Pavilion, landscaped courtyards, and three full-service restaurants. Aquarium of the PacificAquarium of the Pacific. Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, one of the largest aquariums in the US, has 1,000 species that fill 19 habitats and 32 exhibits. Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. Situated along Pacific Coast Highway, Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve is a top US birding spot, attracting flocks migrating the Pacific Flyway. More than 200 bird species visit Bolsa Chica each year, including rare and endangered species. Sightings of great blue herons, snowy egrets and brown pelicans are common, and lucky visitors can spot a rare white pelican. CBS Television CityCBS Television City. See where Elvis Presley appeared on the "Ed Sullivan Show" for the first time in 1956 at CBS Television City, a studio made famous as the birthplace of the "Carol Burnett Show," "The Sonny & Cher Show" and dozens of popular CBS programs, including the original "Twilight Zone" and "The Jacksons.” If you're interested in seeing a TV show recorded live, just walk up to the studio's ticket office and pick up your tickets. When David Letterman brings his "Late Show" out to the west coast, he tapes at CBS Television City, and you can get tickets to his rare L.A. shows if you write in advance. Crystal Cathedral. Located in Garden Grove, Crystal Cathedral is one of Southern California's most beautiful structural odes to religion.
